*The reservation calendar is where I might communicate closures. If a time is blocked and you cannot book it, it likely means I have to close the studio for an appointment, cleaning, or maybe a power outage/issue. Known closures will also be communicated below. All clays are from Clay Art Center in Tacoma this list is what we currently have in stock or are awaiting delivery, click the name to see the CAC webpage for more information. Remember, there will be $1/lb added onto your clay to cover firing fees, this also gives you access to our 9 dipping glazes and 6 underglazes.
Right now we are only selling 25 lbs bags of clay. Pricing on the clay sale will add sales tax, the $25 firing fee is not taxed.
Oregon Brown $12.75+tax- dark brown clay, 70 mesh sand, hand-building or throwing
Oregon Brown Smooth $12.75+tax - dark brown clay, 125 mesh sand, very smooth and buttery feel
Idaho Buff $12.75+tax- lovely buff color, 70 mesh sand, hand-building or throwing
Idaho Buff SM $12.75+tax- same lovely Idaho buff, but with speckle!
Mac6 $14.70+tax- creamy white porcelain-like stoneware, no grog or sand
SMY $13.30+tax- Red stoneware, 70 mesh sand
BC6 $14.25+tax- white stoneware, very smooth and plastic, but forgiving
BCS- The same BC6 clay body with sand. Much for forgiving, but still very soft.
All clay sales are onsite at the studio via Square, credit card only.
